My HP laptop doesn’t show any wifi connections

My HP laptop won’t show any wifi connections when I click on the no wifi logo. The only two options on there are the airplane mode toggle which won’t work currently and the link to network settings. I’ve tried using the link and trouble shooting but it is yet to fix my problem. The laptop this issue is currently occurring on uses windows 10

    I haven’t gotten an error message, nothing happens, should I try again and restart?

    That is weird. It should go through with the installation.

    Anyways, let's try something else.

    Let's try to do a system restore to restore the Windows operating system to the state it was before the issue started. Here are the steps to do that.

    Click the Windows logo

    Then type Create a restore point, and click the top result to open the System Properties page.

    Click the System Restore button.

    Quick note: If the option is grayed out, then it means that the system does not have any restore point available.

    Click the Next button.

    Select the restore point to revert changes. Select the oldest dated restore point just to be sure.

    Click the Scan for affected programs button to confirm the apps that will be removed because they were added after creating the restore point.

    Click the Close button.

    Click the Next button.

    Click the Finish button.

    Just keep in my mind that when the system restore starts, it can't be interrupted so make sure that the laptop is plugged in with its charger. Interrupting system restore may lead to more problems.

    No worries.

    Lets hope that the system restore would restore the WIFI driver.

    The last option you have is factory reset.
