My HP laptop doesn’t show any wifi connections

My HP laptop won’t show any wifi connections when I click on the no wifi logo. The only two options on there are the airplane mode toggle which won’t work currently and the link to network settings. I’ve tried using the link and trouble shooting but it is yet to fix my problem. The laptop this issue is currently occurring on uses windows 10

    I’d rather not factory reset as I have important applications needed for school that I can’t install

    No worries.

    You can purchase a USB flash drive to be used on the transfer of the installer.

    However, in my personal opinion, it is better if you can factory reset the laptop to fully refresh the system and avoid the issue in the future.

    But it is your call. Whatever you go to, I will assist you.

    I do have access to two laptops but I’m afraid I don’t have a usb, however I may be able get someone to purchase one. It may take a while though

    Thank you for verifying. If the steps on the above link for iPhone don't work, you may need to try this other workaround.

    Use a different computer to download the file then save it on a USB flash drive so you can transfer it to the laptop with an issue.

    Or, just factory reset your laptop while keeping your files to refresh it. Just remember that on this method, only your personal files will be kept and all your applications needs to be reinstalled.
