My HP laptop doesn’t show any wifi connections

My HP laptop won’t show any wifi connections when I click on the no wifi logo. The only two options on there are the airplane mode toggle which won’t work currently and the link to network settings. I’ve tried using the link and trouble shooting but it is yet to fix my problem. The laptop this issue is currently occurring on uses windows 10

    I forgot to mention, right after clicking it I got the are you sure you want to let this make changes menu, I clicked yes

    I’ve put the file on the usb put it into my laptop, if I remember correctly I just clicked on the file and a window with what I believe were terms and agreements came up. I pressed next and agreed then I believe it saved to a certain file. Something that looked similar to where you type python codes came up and vanished soon after. Do I have to do anything else?

    Thank you Nicole, after some arrangements I should have a usb pretty soon. I appreciate all your help and apologise if I’ve been a bit unclear as if you couldn’t tell I am quite young

    I understand your situation.

    You may also try to contact HP support on this issue while you still don't have a USB flash drive to transfer the driver. They might have their own workaround for their product.
