My HP laptop doesn’t show any wifi connections

My HP laptop won’t show any wifi connections when I click on the no wifi logo. The only two options on there are the airplane mode toggle which won’t work currently and the link to network settings. I’ve tried using the link and trouble shooting but it is yet to fix my problem. The laptop this issue is currently occurring on uses windows 10

    It is possible that the WIFI card of the laptop is the one causing the issue since we've already done a bunch of software troubleshooting.

    It is best to have the laptop checked to be sure.

    It didn’t work, however someone I know has a parent who works in IT, he told me it’s most likely a hardware issue. Could this be why nothings working?

    The laptop screen turned off but turned back on when I moved the cursor, would that affect it or is it just the battery dying

    No worries.

    Lets hope that the system restore would restore the WIFI driver.

    The last option you have is factory reset.
