My HP laptop doesn’t show any wifi connections

My HP laptop won’t show any wifi connections when I click on the no wifi logo. The only two options on there are the airplane mode toggle which won’t work currently and the link to network settings. I’ve tried using the link and trouble shooting but it is yet to fix my problem. The laptop this issue is currently occurring on uses windows 10

I have connected the devices, however I don’t see a transfer option on the download file. Is it transferred another way?

It might be if the charger cord supports file transfer since there are charger cords that only support charging. But if the charging cord that you are using is the one supplied with your Sisters' phone when she bought it, that should work.

We’re in luck, mu sisters charger cord fits both the phone and the laptop, if a charger cord would work of course

This might be a problem.

A workaround that I can think off is if it is possible to connect the laptop to the internet modem or router using a wired connection.

The other option is factory resetting the laptop to refresh all its system files including the malfunctioning driver.

I’m afraid I’m unaware of how to transfer to file from my phone to the laptop, if a cable of sort is needed im afraid I don’t have one with a usb that fits my phone
