My HP laptop doesn’t show any wifi connections

My HP laptop won’t show any wifi connections when I click on the no wifi logo. The only two options on there are the airplane mode toggle which won’t work currently and the link to network settings. I’ve tried using the link and trouble shooting but it is yet to fix my problem. The laptop this issue is currently occurring on uses windows 10

    The laptop screen turned off but turned back on when I moved the cursor, would that affect it or is it just the battery dying

    Click this link and download the driver on the device that you are using.

    Next, transfer the downloaded file to the laptop that is having an issue.

    Next, double-click the transferred file to start the installation.

    Restart the system after the installation.

    If the issue will still persist, I suggest contacting HP support.

    I appreciate all your help Nicole, but it seems to be malfunctioning again, I’ll uninstall it again and see if I can do something about getting a better driver. If possible some instruction on how to do so would be appreciated

    That mark indicates that the driver is malfunctioning. You may need to uninstall it and then restart the system so Windows can reinstall it.

    Hi Nicole

    Im not exactly sure if my laptops model, but in device manager under network adapters Intel(R) Wi-Fi with some other things afterwards has an orange triangle with an exclamation mark on top of the desktop logo. Could that have anything to do with the issue?
