Why does my snipping tool no longer bring up the pop up image to edit?

My Snip tool used to bring the image I captured in a pop up automatically, that I could edit when using the windows key & Ctrl S. It no longer does this? Is there a setting I need to change? I have to actually open the Snip Tool Menu to get this to work now. Not sure if some update was done by my IT people that changed this.

    How do you change them back to look like Windows 10?

    Yes, need this snipping tool fixed asap. It make things harder on users not easier after I upgraded to Windows 11. Many features are just cometic and doesn't enhance performance. I ended up changing them back to look like windows 10.

    This is not a corporate IT setting change...I manage all such settings and we have made none. This happens on all Win 11 machines that I have...at work, at home, etc. Have tried resetting Snipping Tool and nothing changes the minimized / background behavior.

    yep and it is getting irritating because I am clipping all day long for my blog and this change whatever it was is not good, at least in my opinion. I love the tool, I just want it working as before. Hopefully MS will see this.

    Mine has just begun doing this - pop-up is only a background window and icon in system tray turns pink!
