Why does my snipping tool no longer bring up the pop up image to edit?

My Snip tool used to bring the image I captured in a pop up automatically, that I could edit when using the windows key & Ctrl S. It no longer does this? Is there a setting I need to change? I have to actually open the Snip Tool Menu to get this to work now. Not sure if some update was done by my IT people that changed this.

2023-11-27T09:39:16+00:00 For me what worked may have been mentioned, but the priority of notifications was the issue in System > Notifications > Snipping Tool.
To fix it I made it the top priority so now it always appears on top. Still buggy and had a terrible UX from MS, but no surprise there, the entire Win 11 took us 2 steps backward because they don't hire UX people. -

Go to Settings> Apps > Installed Apps > Snipping Tool
Then Reset.
After this it started working normally.
Thanks REX, reset it - works! my snipping tool pop up again after screenshot. That's brilliant!

2023-11-24T08:22:20+00:00 Thanks! This is the correct answer. I also had "Snipping Tool" as the default and after changing the default to "Screen Snipping" I can again open the screenshot from the notification.
