This worked! Thank you!
Why does my snipping tool no longer bring up the pop up image to edit?
My Snip tool used to bring the image I captured in a pop up automatically, that I could edit when using the windows key & Ctrl S. It no longer does this? Is there a setting I need to change? I have to actually open the Snip Tool Menu to get this to work now. Not sure if some update was done by my IT people that changed this.

2023-09-09T17:25:43+00:00 I apologize if this is off-topic but I am finally able to get back in!
I had to reinstall my MS 365 again for the maybe 3rd time? This time I got my snipping tool back the way it was originally.
Shift +Windows + S.
Tool pops up with a sound.
I click on it.
Save it.
I know there's a glitch in MS 365 that obviously hasn't been remedied. Also, if I "X" out of the app, I have to start over. So I never X out. It's a pain but at least I have access toy emails. Very important rn.

2023-08-30T14:45:37+00:00 nothing works on getting it to be the forward window. i hate it because i loved that tool and now it's more trouble than its worth. I recently switched to Windows 11 and have found out this is all we have to work with. People should enjoy Windows 10 while they can!
i ended up downloading a different snipping tool and just use that now.
