Windows clean install-sufficient hard disk storage space. Error 0x800700EE

I need to re-install Windows, but keep my apps.

Siden mitt siste innspill her, jeg kan observere at når jeg lager et OS bilde backup og dersom jeg velger den ene av to ferdig installerte x.M2 SSD gir meg BSOD. Der den ene av disse SSD er C: boot, den andre er target for backup bilde av OS. Dersom jeg bruker andre disker, snurre diskereller SD, ingen problem.

Jeg nevner dette forholde, om det kan være noen viderehjelp (?)

(1) You are showing 3 partitions on Disk 0 in both the top & bottom panes of Disk Management. It's just that the Windows partition shows up by name in both panes: Boot Disk C:.

(a) How did it come about that your EFI partition comes after the Windows partition on Disk 0? But it's probably OK that it does.

(b) How did it come about that there is a 2nd EFI partition that is on Disk 1? That probably is not OK. It could be causing confusion during a reboot to complete the Windows install.

(2) But a normal Windows clean install creates 4 partitions -- EFI, MSR, Windows & Recovery -- in that order. Disk Management won't show MSR (Microsoft Reserved). If you've got it. it will show up in DiskPart...

(a) Type CMD into Search, then click Run as Administrator.

(b) Enter the following commands (you may copy/paste)...

DiskPart <<<Enter DiskPart

List Vol <<<List the volumes & letters

Select Disk 0 <<<Focus on Disk 0

List Part <<<List its partitions -- is there an MSR?

Exit <<<Leave DiskPart

BCDEdit /Enum {fwbootmgr} <<Show Firmware Boot Manager

BCDEdit <<<Show Windows Boot Manager & Boot Loader(s)

Use Ctrl-A & Ctrl-C to copy, then paste it to us. The Windows Boot Manager will say which EFI is being used. The other should be deleted. If there is no MSR, I think I'd want to create one.

Håpefult dette vil gi noen flere ledetråder?

(1) I want to see a BCDEdit to determine which EFI is being used. Then, we should delete the other. It might even be best to move the good one to be the first partition on Disk 0. Try the fixes in this article to get past that "volume for a file has been changed externally" error...

Note: The article looks good to me, but I know nothing about any links or downloads that may be at that 3rd-party site.

(2) You lack the tiny MSR (Microsoft Reserved) partition. I'm unsure whether its lack is a cause of the problems you've got, but I think it best you have one. It really belongs immediately preceding the Windows (C:) partition, but that would require 3rd-party software to accomplish. Can you shrink C: by 16 MB (Disk Management can do that), then shift C: rightward past it (3rd-party software is needed)? After that, the following would create an MSR just where it belongs...

DiskPart <<<Enter DiskPart

Select Disk 0 <<<Focus on Disk 0

List Part <<<Show its partitions

CREATE PARTITION MSR SIZE=16 <<<Create MSR of 16 MB

List Part <<<Should see MSR now

Exit <<<Leave DiskPart

(a) Reboot after that to be sure the whole system becomes aware.

(b) If you just shrink (& not shift), MSR would create after C: which probably is OK.

(3) I think your Recovery partition has the wrong type ID, but let's worry about that later. See how mine says "Recovery"...
