I have the security Action badge indicating to me that Windows security Action is required.
I open up by clicking the badge and see the notice that the Local Security Authority Protection is required to be turned on and restart the computer to which I perform those two actions.
After my computer is reloaded the Security Badge still requires me to turn Local Security Authority Protection on, as I have already done.

I have no idea how MS is going to fix it, I'm a user like you not related to Microsoft.
They never replied to the FBH report for the problem.
I fixed it on my machines as I explained earlier.
You can try the same if you know how to Edit the registry.
A while back you mentioned I believe was why would they use the 1 and 2 s in the LSA Protection settings.
I am viewing the LSA configurations from the section of Microsoft information and they are referring to settings as for a single computer and a group computer.
Could this be where things went wrong as the setting was set for the wrong computer type?

When it comes to Registry I am quite nervous about fooling with them as I have done that on a previous computer I had some time back and made the computer worthless.
On another matter what is this Intel Optane Memory? It is a way to get more memory on the computer?

I did not mention that about LSA, I just found a tutorial on a forum where they explain how to enable LSA.
I just followed their suggestions in the tutorial listed in the link below, that is how I fixed the problem.
I think they are missing the second DWORD that is needed for LSA to work. 😎
For the explanation about Optane Memory search on the Web, you may find an explanation on the Intel site.
I know you did not however there are two settings. One for a single computer and a setting for a group.
