Hello,

In windows 7 and 10 we had cool feature open any folder select 1-15 files example PDF press right mouse and select Print. So we could print files without opening them.

Seems Windows 11 has no option to Print? Why downgrade?? I'm regretting that upgraded from 10 to 11 unless you moved it.

It seems to depend on the default app for PDF you have set, I have used Edge and this function is not available. However if I use Adobe Reader I get this option.

Hi, I'm Elise, and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

Try click the show more options menu when you right click on the files and see if it is present in there.

Also ensure you have a default printer setup.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise

Why bury this in the "More Options" menu? Most people don't think of printing a document as an addtional option; they think of it as a basic command. It should be in the basic quick menu that opens when you right click on the file name/path in Explorer.

I sometimes think that the programmers who make these decisions have never actually had to use the options that they are deciding to make less accessible. Just because YOU (the programmer) don't print a document regularly doesn't mean that *I* (the customer) don't print a document regularly. Applications should be created for customers' ease of use, not for programmers'.

I agree. I'm really frustrated right now trying to add a print option to File Explorer!! Not only that, when you choose the More Options (pain in the ) then it auto picks my printer and doesn't let me choose which one I want to use for that particular PDF!! That is NOT useful!! Tnx Microsoft for fixing something that didn't need fixing! I wish I could go back to Windows 10 but my office made all of us switch to the 'Upgrade'!! Hate it.
