You are not annoying me. I am glad to see that you have the latest Display driver that Asus provides for your PC. I was under the impression until you finally confirmed this that it was the one which couldn't install. I'm not sure you can expect any better, although as I said I've given you every possible way to find other drivers to try. But I still think you have the latest.
Getting viruses or having lagging performance are other issues that have nothing to do with upgrading to another edition the PC doesn't support. I have shown you in this thread how to to a gold standard Clean Install which guarantees the best performance, and has been used by millions without anyone ever coming back that I've seen with further problems.
Until then you can Go over Windows using this checklist to make sure the install is set up correctly, optimized for best performance, and any needed repairs get done: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...
Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues, then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files, and also Step 16 to test a new Local Admin account to replace yours which may be corrupted. Then if necessary continue with the other steps to go over your install most thoroughly.
How is performance right now? If there are any other issues I can help you wrap those up.
