how do I force graphics driver to download?

Can I see a link to the Asus downloads page for your exact model?

It should have only one download for the latest display driver to download. Once you download and (if necessary) extract it it should have an .exe installer file to run to do the actual driver install.

If necessary first remove the old driver using DDU https://www.wagnardsoft.com/content/ddu-guide-t... (not necessary with Microsoft Basic driver which is a placeholder if nothing else is available) and/or installing in Safe Mode with Networking (so you have internet), or Safe Mode, accessed by one of these methods: https://www.digitalcitizen.life/4-ways-boot-saf...

If this doesn't give you the latest or ideal driver for what you need, compare it to the driver offered by the Intel driver update Utility here: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/...

i downloaded the drivers from Intel HD Graphics Download Website,

also, the Intel Driver Update app doesnt work at all for me, it just says Im up-to-date but my drivers is in version 9.17!

i downloaded the .inf file, but I dont see the Intel HD Graphics driver (for my laptop) i just see random drivers like Intel HD 4000, Intel UHD ...

so, what do u think i should do? the Asus website doesnt have my graphics drivers...

my laptop model: X202E

by the way, the .exe doesnt work, it says ERROR as if my system doent support that driver.

Go into Settings > Windows Update to Check for Updates, install all updates that are found, including and especially ones in Advanced Options > Additional Options > Optional Updates.

The last Intel display driver posted by the manufacturer is for Windows 8.1 from 2013. Did you run PC Health Check before upgrading? If not I'd run it now: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows... and report back what it says.

Intel website drivers do not always work for a laptop which often has key drivers modified by the manufacturer. You can try them using the manual downloads from Intel here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/downloa...

These are long shots but sometimes they do work. It depends upon how much and how they have been modified if at all. I have even seen other brand PC drivers for adapters work in rare cases.

If nothing works then what's smartest is to go back to the last edition of Windows that can run it and stay there until you buy a new PC. To let you know how doable this is (if you're not shopping), I just got a Core i5 12th Generation 8gb RAM 256gb SSD Dell touch laptop on Black Friday for under $400 with taxes.

i actually got Intel HD Graphics 3000, not 4000

but, the $400 in the country im in is 1753.20, thats alot!

Sometimes for hard to find drivers I'll install DriverMax for it's two free drivers a day. It's the most reliable driver finder which searches by the hardware ID in it's huge driver database.
