Wdcsam64.sys driver preventing me from turning on memory integrity

I have a driver that is prohibiting me from turning on memory integrity. The driver is wdcsam64.sys. How do I turn it off or delete so I can turn on memory integrity?

    Uninstalling the WD SES driver, worked for me and my Passport drive still works fine.

    None of the posted workarounds resolved the Wdcsam64.sys conflict that prevented my Windows 11 system from turning on memory integrity.

    Then I found a search result to install WD Discovery for Windows from this URL:

    https://downloads.wdc.com/wdapp/Install_WD_Discovery_for_Windows.zip

    After a couple of reboots I was able to enable Core Isolation features, and the the warning flag in the system tray went away.

    As an added bonus, my USB drives now respond much more quickly when I attach or right-click to eject them.

    Use msinfo32 you can type it from the run command:
    in the window select Software environment, then system drivers; it will tell you the path to the file your system is actively using:
    wdc_sam WD SCSI Pass Thru driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\wdcsam64.sys Kernel Driver No Manual Stopped OK Normal No No
    That is the typical information listed; since this driver is maintained by Western Digital and is incompatible with windows, Microsoft should not use this driver; then western digital would update it, one would think. Personally Windows 11 should just let you enable/disable the affecting driver right in the incompatible drivers security panel; and windows should carry any default drivers that disable important security features.
