Where did you find the software? I have a WD 5T Elements portable external drive. It is plug-and-play so I don't think I installed any software.

I have a driver that is prohibiting me from turning on memory integrity. The driver is wdcsam64.sys. How do I turn it off or delete so I can turn on memory integrity?

2025-02-04T01:54:36+00:00 Download the latest Western Digital Discovery Services version from the official web (which contains updated drivers):
https://support-en.wd.com/app/answers/detailweb/a_id/20465
Once you install this, it will update the driver to a Win 10/11 compatible driver, and the problems are gone.
(If you have this error message then its because you have a win 7/8 driver as a default installation).
You can of course also just search the Western Digital Forums and they come up with the same solution, but I thought I would post it here also, as this was the first place I searched (and found in google.).
