Wdcsam64.sys driver preventing me from turning on memory integrity

I have a driver that is prohibiting me from turning on memory integrity. The driver is wdcsam64.sys. How do I turn it off or delete so I can turn on memory integrity?

    You have to find the folder the files are in.

    Then right click on it goto properties... Then security.

    You must "take ownership" of the directory/folder and items in it.

    Then add your login ID as a user with full permissions.

    Once complete... You can delete the system files... Being an admin is not enough.

    I was not able to use these steps to delete the files (4 total). It says I need administrator permission to delete. I even tried renaming the files and it wouldn't allow that either. Any other simple steps to resolve this issue?

    Found a simple solution for Windows 11:

    1. Open File Explorer and go to OS (Local Disk C)
    2. Type in search bar wdcsam64.sys
    3. Wait for full search to end.
    4. Choose and delete the item with the description similar to "Wdcsam64.sys"
    5. Do a restart.
    6. Go to Core Isolation and activated

    Thank you. I had three items and had to delete all three. Two required renaming before I could delete them. One deleted just fine. The two I renamed still wouldn't delete, but context menu allowed me to use IOBIT Malware Fighter to delete it.

    Talk about a real pain. File shows as Western Digital. Anyone know why this is a problem?

    I downloaded WD Discovery for Windows and was able to turn memory integrity back on and my drive doesn't seem to have any issues now (using Windows 11).
