Wdcsam64.sys driver preventing me from turning on memory integrity

I have a driver that is prohibiting me from turning on memory integrity. The driver is wdcsam64.sys. How do I turn it off or delete so I can turn on memory integrity?

    After failing multiple times, I eventually found this link to download WD Discovery tool https://downloads.wdc.com/wdapp/Install\_WD\_Discovery\_for\_Windows.zip

    During the installation process the outdated drivers were removed and I was then able to turn on Memory Integrity in Device Security Settings. Hope this helps others.

    I have solved my wdscam64.sys problem using a combination of some of the other people solution..

    First.. you need to uninstall WD SES Device driver to fix the wdcsam64.sys memory integrity error

    1. go to Device Manager
    2. Click View > Show hidden devices.
    3. Find WD Drive Management devices. Right-click WD SES Device and select Uninstall.

    then i open the windows terminal (admin) and uninstall the driver usingpnputil /delete-driver oem0.inf

    if you dont uninstall the WD SES Device first.. it wont allow to delete the oem0.inf

    you'll need to restart pc and now you can turn memory integrity back on again

    First, it appears that the WDCSAM64.sys was needed for a Western Digital Passport external drive, that I have. I was receiving a message that security blocked it from loading, although the drive functioned. My Win11 machine is for my ham station and I use the WD Passport to transfer my log to a WIN10 machine where I have email.

    All I did was to check for System Updates even though my system was up to date. Then, under advanced options I was directed to Additional Options > Optional Updates and there was one obvious choice for Western Digital and ran that. The Failed to load window did not reappear after a reboot after that.

    My guess is it won't hurt to do the update even if you don't have anything Western Digital.

    It's not letting me delete the file.

    Even when I try as admin, it says "You require permission from SYSTEM to make changes to this file".

    Any idea what I need to do?

    Getting the error message that wdcsam64.sys cannot be found. Tried your steps, but the computer still can't find the file.
