Wdcsam64.sys driver preventing me from turning on memory integrity

I have a driver that is prohibiting me from turning on memory integrity. The driver is wdcsam64.sys. How do I turn it off or delete so I can turn on memory integrity?

    I had the same issue (Windows 11). However when visiting the WD download page, I read that the listed downloads would solve that issue. Sure enough, after downloading and restarting, it did.

    f you microsoft. normal people don't understand this nonsense or recommended solutions which involve tinkering with registry or system files. Everytime you push out a "windows update" **** like this happens.

    Just popping in here to inform anyone who has this issue that you don't need to go through a bunch of scary/potentially risky steps to resolve this issue. Just follow these instructions from WD's official site.

    I came to this thread several weeks ago after updating to Win 11 and was hesitant to follow any of the advice here because I aggressively avoid going into the command prompt to do anything. After a couple weeks of ignoring the security alert, I finally got around to searching for an official solution from Microsoft or Western Digital. On the WD forums, I found a link that led me to the one I shared above and it doesn't require any command prompt or admin privileges.

    I have an old Passport and mine still works just fine after following these steps. Hope this helps! <3
