"Choose where to get apps from" feature missing in Windows 11 Advanced App Settings

I am looking for my "Choose where to get apps from" button and can't find it anywhere. When I go to "apps" It show advanced app settings and under the heading shows "Choose where to get apps from", but when I click on Advanced App Settings, there's no "Choose where to apps from option!" Can anyone help me get this option back?!

Hi Autumn Lehman,

Yes, the process is the exact same for Windows 10 and 11

In Windows 11, open the Settings app, go to System - Activation and click 'Go to the Store' to switch to Windows 11 Home for free.

    im having trouble with the where to get apps

    im trying to switch it to everywhere from the microsoft store only

    but it wont let me

    I cannot find the 'Go to Store' option in my activation section. How do I exit S mode without it?
