"Choose where to get apps from" feature missing in Windows 11 Advanced App Settings

I am looking for my "Choose where to get apps from" button and can't find it anywhere. When I go to "apps" It show advanced app settings and under the heading shows "Choose where to get apps from", but when I click on Advanced App Settings, there's no "Choose where to apps from option!" Can anyone help me get this option back?!

Hi Autumn Lehman,

Yes, the process is the exact same for Windows 10 and 11

In Windows 11, open the Settings app, go to System - Activation and click 'Go to the Store' to switch to Windows 11 Home for free.

    Yeah um I'm trying to get steam on because I paid for AI paid for started Valley on steam and you know I would like to play the game I paid for on my computer so could you please be more clear on how I can switch to anywhere

    First let me start off by saying I guess I'm the community or part of it they give one of us an answer the next thing I know we're signing up for terms of a use agreement that requires us to have to answer their questions for them so to answer your question yes you have to switch it out of s mode I wonder how many times I have to answer these questions before I start at paid? Lol maybe I need to search that for the community too I'm sure there's an answer there somebody else is asked 😁 but good luck and have a good day
