[Win 11] Microsoft store's Apps close on while on sleeping

Description: when my device goes to sleep it closes my apps which were installed with Microsoft Store.

Device: Microsoft Laptop Studio

System: Windows 11, all updates installed, drivers up to date.

Tried: all solutions from topics above.

  1. Reset Microsoft Store.
  2. Re-register all its apps and store itself with a powershell (successfully).

Result: none.

Additional info: I'm using 4-6 desktops and constantly switching between. If I have some of MS apps on some screen it can be closed (without any crash message) just on desktop switching (but not always). If laptop goes to sleep - all MS apps are closed every time.

PS: asked my co-workers with win11 - the problem persists almost on every machine with win11. Weird that Microsoft doesn't fix it. It's very annoying.

    Glad I'm not the only one facing this issue. After many weeks digging around, I found a solution that worked for a month and then it started happening again.

    The previous solution was to simply disable the "Instant Hotspot" in PhoneLink. Worked for a month, then yesterday it came back again. Not sure what I can do as I use PhoneLink quite often.

    The worst about his is that it doesn't happen on Windows 10 at all. Windows 11 is pretty garbage, full of unnecessary bugs and issues.

    Killing the phone link seems to have worked for me, i also disabled the auto hotspot.

    As a long time linux user (and new Surface pro 9 owner) why such an unreleted feature is giving this annoying bug is beyond me, luckly now Wsl2 stopped crashing at each sleep.

    I'll update should it break again

    It is beautiful to work with an OS giving you such a feeling of solidity.

    Agree with you very much. Just in last half of year Windows 11 turned to some legasy if Windows 8.... A buggy ****. In addition to problem in the topic, I have Start Menu layout resetting randomly. Just after some time (it could be few hour or even days) - everything in Start Menu resets to default, and I have to arrange shortcuts over and over again...

    Anyone still has the issue after KB5022913 update?

    Recently the issue gone for me and I though the KB5022913 fixed it. However today it started to happen again and I have no idea what has changed since the update.
