I just got update to Android 13 but I am pretty sure this problem existed before. I think this is a Microsoft bug.
New issue with unlocking my Samsung phone via phone link app on PC
I've been using the "Phone Link" app on my computer and mobile and this has let me mirror my phone on my computer and enabled me to unlock the phone screen from my PC. However I'm no longer able to unlock from the PC and it is showing the following message: "Unlock on your phone. To keep your credential private and secure, we need you to unlock your phone to continue." Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue?

Phone Link has reduced its' usefulness for sure, especially for users who require an alternative method for using their smartphone!
Technology can and should empower abilities and NOT discriminate and depower users!

2022-12-30T21:54:11+00:00 Uninstall the app on your phone. Delete phone profile on your PC. Reconnect the phone, update phonelink app through Samsung store and it should work for you again. It started working again for me.
