New issue with unlocking my Samsung phone via phone link app on PC

I've been using the "Phone Link" app on my computer and mobile and this has let me mirror my phone on my computer and enabled me to unlock the phone screen from my PC. However I'm no longer able to unlock from the PC and it is showing the following message: "Unlock on your phone. To keep your credential private and secure, we need you to unlock your phone to continue." Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue?

    Sorry, you still needed to unlock the phone anyway! I cannot see any risk if a pin was needed anyway. PLUS you still can access messages and calls etc without any security! PLEASE DON'T suggest any change to that. Then I'll be not able to communicate with anyone!

    So what do you suggest users who aren't able to use a touchscreen do?

    Apologies I know you were just doing what you believe was right but accessibility is just as important as privacy and needs to be recognised!

    It impacts life as well!

    I have the same issue. Having need to unlock the phone every time I want to use it from my PC, makes this app pointless. If I pick up my phone, then why would I need to use the PC? I can do the task right on the phone in this case.

    Agree that the new "feature" requiring you to manually unlock the phone defeats the whole purpose of being able to link to your phone. If you have to have your phone physically beside you, there's no longer any need for Phone Link.

    Has someone confirmed that the need to manually unlock is because of a Samsung update?
