New issue with unlocking my Samsung phone via phone link app on PC
I've been using the "Phone Link" app on my computer and mobile and this has let me mirror my phone on my computer and enabled me to unlock the phone screen from my PC. However I'm no longer able to unlock from the PC and it is showing the following message: "Unlock on your phone. To keep your credential private and secure, we need you to unlock your phone to continue." Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue?

2023-12-05T19:51:30+00:00 Smartlock already enabled. It unlocks the phone but does not clear the lock screen. Result, still must manually swipe screen.

2023-12-05T22:33:41+00:00 For me - using the old version of the PC app solved the remote unlock problem... and still does.
But under Android 14, the phone (and Link to PC app or service) requires that I approve "permission to cast" the screen each time it connects. This is unrelated to whether the phone is locked or not.
