New issue with unlocking my Samsung phone via phone link app on PC

I've been using the "Phone Link" app on my computer and mobile and this has let me mirror my phone on my computer and enabled me to unlock the phone screen from my PC. However I'm no longer able to unlock from the PC and it is showing the following message: "Unlock on your phone. To keep your credential private and secure, we need you to unlock your phone to continue." Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue?

I hope someone who can fix this madness is paying attention to this thread. Supposedly for security reasons they're now requiring you to manually unlock your phone, but instead people are creating routines to automatically unlock their phones instead. This means anyone who has your phone can unlock it simply by getting near enough to your computer. It would be a lot more secure if it just went back to the way it was before, where you could unlock by typing your code on the computer.

A real world version of this would be security requiring that all keys be kept in a lock box, so someone hangs up a sign by the door advising people to leave the door unlocked and propped open.

Microsoft has a Windows app called "Feedback Hub". Just heard about it and recently installed it on my PC.

I left detailed feedback -- with screenshots -- about newer versions of the Phone Link app requiring you to use your phone to unlock the Lock Screen instead of using the Phone Link app to do it. The feedback stayed up for a day. There was even an "upvote" from someone else who was experiencing the problem. Then my feedback vanished! It's like someone at Microsoft doesn't want this problem to be publicized.

Thank you. Downloaded it but nothing further happened. Wasn't an install option or automatic process

Find the .appxbundle file you downloaded to your PC's file system (It's named

    "phone-link-1-22102-202-0.appxbundle").

Then either double-click the file or right-click and choose the "Install" option.

I reached out to the team today to know more about this. Pretty hopeful that I would get a reply.
