It's unfortunate that you're experiencing such frustration. As for me, the phone link and my Samsung device are now functioning perfectly, allowing me to access my phone's screen from my laptop without needing to manually unlock it. So, take a moment to read and relax.
New issue with unlocking my Samsung phone via phone link app on PC
I've been using the "Phone Link" app on my computer and mobile and this has let me mirror my phone on my computer and enabled me to unlock the phone screen from my PC. However I'm no longer able to unlock from the PC and it is showing the following message: "Unlock on your phone. To keep your credential private and secure, we need you to unlock your phone to continue." Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue?

2024-06-30T12:56:40+00:00 Yes, because I use extend unlock. But before disabling the swipe thing even extend unlock alone wasn't able to do the trick, because I needed to physically swipe the unlock screen. Hope this clarifies the matter.

Does it allow you to be able access your phone via Phone link on the pc without physically touching your phone?
Also do you have to be using face recognition as your unlock method ?
Thank you
