Thank you for posting that.
I have verified, partially: you can create a Routine, select Link to Windows as a trigger, and select Keep phone unlocked as the action, with a few (manageable) caveats:
- you must select another condition as well as Link to Windows, such as arriving at a place, being on a particular wifi network, or connecting to a Bluetooth device (ostensibly, your computer might work as the Bluetooth device).
- the unlock will last for 4 hours.
To set it up:
- Navigate to Settings > Modes and Routines
- Select the Routines tab at the bottom of the screen
- Add a routine (plus sign)
- If... select Link to Windows under Connected Devices
- Then... select "Lock screen and AOD". Under there you will find the option to keep your phone unlocked. It will be greyed out if you've followed my steps so far. Tap the grayed out option to see the conditions.
I'll leave the directions at that, since they're likely to change, and this gets you past the tricky parts of setting up the Routine.
I said "partially" above because although I've set up the routine, I haven't tested it with Link to Windows yet.
If you do, let us know how it goes!
