When you say unlocked when connected to the PC, assume it means the screen stays on and has the potential to drains the battery?

I've been using the "Phone Link" app on my computer and mobile and this has let me mirror my phone on my computer and enabled me to unlock the phone screen from my PC. However I'm no longer able to unlock from the PC and it is showing the following message: "Unlock on your phone. To keep your credential private and secure, we need you to unlock your phone to continue." Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue?

I like this! Setting the connection to my home wifi router SID (instead of BT) works nicely for me - similar to Smart Lock location, but this seems to work better, As it is - my PC's BT can't keep a connection to the phone outside about 10-15 feet - but my wifi is everywhere.

Doesn't work for me. . .
See my reply to Alexander, above. You have to turn on Bluetooth and connect -- even though you're not using Bluetooth with the PhoneLink app. It's a workaround.
Hi everyone,
Found a new solution that actually works. . .
Hope this helps!
Hmm. Didn't work for me at first because I didn't have Bluetooth on my PC turned on and I wasn't paired with my phone. You have to do that to make this workaround work. It's probably worth noting that the PhoneLink app itself doesn't require Bluetooth. It uses WiFi. Using Bluetooth is just a way to workaround the Lock Screen issues that the PhoneLink app causes.
Doesn't work for me. Maybe it's bc I connect through Wi-Fi/Mobile Network instead of Bluetooth. The "If Link to Windows > Connected to computer" doesn't let me set "Lock screen > Keep your phone unlocked", with the message:
"This action can only be added to routines with one of the following conditions:
