New issue with unlocking my Samsung phone via phone link app on PC

I've been using the "Phone Link" app on my computer and mobile and this has let me mirror my phone on my computer and enabled me to unlock the phone screen from my PC. However I'm no longer able to unlock from the PC and it is showing the following message: "Unlock on your phone. To keep your credential private and secure, we need you to unlock your phone to continue." Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue?

    I've got a Samsung Galaxy and I had the same black prompt screen -- for about a month. Then two days ago, the black prompt screen was replaced with the Enter Pin screen complete with a keypad that allows me to use my mouse to enter a pin -- or lets me just type the pin in my PC keyboard and press enter. In other words, everything is working normally again.

    But to be clear, this normal operation is only possible if I have "phone-link-1-22102-202-0" installed and prevent the Microsoft Store from automatically updating this older "202" version to the latest Phone Link app.

    Search for adb to get up to speed.

    To run a "cmd prompt" window adb command, you need to download something like "platform-tools_r33.0.3-windows.zip", extract it to a folder and in a terminal session "cmd prompt" window, navigate to the extracted folder that contains adb.exe.

    Before you issue the adb command, you have to go to your phone in Settings and enable "Developer options", and under Developer options, enable "USB debugging".

    Finally, before issuing the adb command on your pc, plug in a usb cable between your phone and your PC.

    Like I said, google "adb" to get up to speed.

    Now that we have this working again, via the Samsung App Store. Has anyone completed the update that is now available in the Samsung store? I'm not keen on doing this as it is currently working.

    The Samsung App store is now wanting to update this app again. I'm not game to do it while it's working well. Have you done this update by any chance?
