I use an Android phone and the problem for me turned out to be Google Contacts syncing was turned off.
On your phone check:
Settings>Google>Settings for Google apps>Google Contacts Sync>Also sync device contacts
Phone Link not showing Contact Names....again

Displays mix of number and contact names. Used to display Names only. It's free, so I guess I get what I pay for?

2023-10-21T08:47:31+00:00 It's weird you know, on at least two occasions this week, I've run the app to see my phone contacts displaying on my messages - then, not more than ten minutes later, they're gone... definitely a bug. It was working really well for so long. Never had an issue with in Windows 10, and I was a heavy user of it.

2023-09-29T14:08:10+00:00 I recvomend recording the software version numbers at each link of the communication chain between the phone and the contact list. your display problem maybe merely a reset of your preferences in the Display settings or the desktop profile. good luck.
