Displays mix of number and contact names. Used to display Names only. It's free, so I guess I get what I pay for?

Yeah, the Phone Link app on Windows only has Messages, Calls, Photos but that's good enough for me. I really only use the Messages part on my laptop so I don't have to respond to text messages on my phone using the small keyboard. I'm old and I like a real size keyboard. So long as I only use Outlook to add/delete/modify a contact I don't have any problems with syncing. It's been working perfectly for about 12 months.

HI , the windows link app does not show my Phone Contact List i.e. name , surname , phone number - There is NOT CONTACT/Phonebook APP built into the Phone Link for windows application ( I am using a iPhone/iOS ) this is what I was getting at.

It would be a brilliant application if it actually had a built-in phonebook/contacts app.

As I use WhatsApp business app on my windows pc , and would like to add new contacts via the phone link contacts app (rather than having to pick up my phone and create/add a new contact on my device every time)

Hmmm... I'm using Windows 11 version 23H2 (OS Build: 22631.3880) and Android 14 on a Samsung with One UI version 6.1. I did get a new phone last July so maybe that fixed it for me. I hope I haven't jinxed myself by saying it's been working well. knock on wood. Also, phone link version is 1.24062.101.0.

    Hmmm.... Interesting.

I handle contacts in the same ways that you do. Propagation between Microsoft Outlook computer app and all the phone apps (e.g. Microsoft 365 and Messaging) works correctly. The mirroring of the phone information back to the computer via Phone Link is where matching of contact names to phone numbers breaks down for me. FWIW I'm using Windows 11 and Android 10.

Glad to hear that it is working "great" for you! ☺️ Fingers crossed that I will someday be able to say the same. 🤞🏻

I guess I should say "for me" it has been working great. I enter all of my new contacts via Outlook on my computer/laptop or via the Outlook app on my phone and it propagates everywhere correctly. Been doing it this way for about a year now and no problems.
