HP and Microsoft could care less about this - these "hide" the problem until returns answers fill this thread by their "experts" and other wanna be internet tech sleuths! THE ONLY "FIX" UNPLUGING AND UNINSTALLING PRINTER! Then do all updates including device drivers. When done plug printer back in and it will reinstall until next round of updates. SAD but sign of times. 11 pages of worthless advice here!

I am Dave, I will help you with this.
There are many people reporting that driver update in the last few days, that HP diver update if from 2019, that is not required on your PC, it is a known bug that it is appearing on your updates page in the settings app.
You can use the Microsoft Show/Hide Tool to hide that update to stop Windows trying to install that driver.
