This update keeps return install error 0x80070103 in W11. Why won't it install?

    Hi D_W_L,

    When you run that tool, do you see the option to Hide Updates, and on the next window, you should be able to select the HP update to hide it, is that what you are seeing?

    Just upgraded to 24H2 and the issue is gone.

    good let me know if it comes back next month or after a restart please

    Thread has my "fix" until Microsoft drops support, we are stuck with an issue neither Microsoft or HP have ANY interest in resolving other than to HIDE it. Technical incompetence.

    Read the thread and I tell you ho w to fix it so you at least get temporary updates to drivers. Other posts here are nonsense hide and seek ..

    Thanks, just used the tool. It is gone now.

    Although I had to Pause Updates and Resume it, in order to for it to go away completely.
