My new crucial mx500 does not show on bios so I cant install windows, why?

Bought a new crucial mx500 sata ssd, for my asus x555ld, to make it a litle faster, but it does not show up on bios, it does show on list part, and if I boot from usb drive, I can see it as an option to install windows, but then it says it does not have a driver, any ideas?

Hi Bruno,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Boot into BIOS, find the option to reset BIOS defaults and apply that

Ensure BIOS is in UEFI Mode, then fin the CSM setting and ensure that is permanently disabled, and temporarily disable Secure Boot for the installation.

Save those Settings and restart the installation process.

Hi Bruno,

Thank you for the images.

Boot into BIOS, on the Boot tab, permanently disable Launch CSM

You should then see the Secure Boot setting, disable that while Windows is being installed

Save those settings and restart the PC.
