My new crucial mx500 does not show on bios so I cant install windows, why?

Bought a new crucial mx500 sata ssd, for my asus x555ld, to make it a litle faster, but it does not show up on bios, it does show on list part, and if I boot from usb drive, I can see it as an option to install windows, but then it says it does not have a driver, any ideas?

    I had it show the disc normally once at list disk, this time it didn't

    Hi Bruno,

    Okay, with CSM enabled, boot from the USB:

    At the very start of the Installation Process, press Shift + F10, or Shift + Fn + F10 to open Command Prompt

    Run this command and hit Enter:

    diskpart

    Run this command and hit Enter:

    list disk

    Please provide a photo of the result of those commands.

    Can't even get that "esc" option to show, if CSM is disabled, it just goes to bios

    If enabled usb shows normally, ssd stil does not

    Hi Bruno,

    That is strange, you ay have an old BOS that does not support UEFI.

    Boot up you laptop and repeatedly press the Esc key on the manufacturers logo screen, is the USB a boot option on that menu?
