My new crucial mx500 does not show on bios so I cant install windows, why?

Bought a new crucial mx500 sata ssd, for my asus x555ld, to make it a litle faster, but it does not show up on bios, it does show on list part, and if I boot from usb drive, I can see it as an option to install windows, but then it says it does not have a driver, any ideas?

    Hello, I've read all your messages. I need help for a close issue...

    I bought a crucial P3 1To and connected it on my msi Gl62 6QD computer, it has almost the same bios as yours. My ssd is not recognized. There is no NVMe option in the bios. And i feel like the problem is not from the ssd and with a new one it won't do. Of course the ssd isn't recognized when i boot windows from the hdd.

    Crucial says my laptop and motherboard MS 16J9 is 100% compatible with the ssd.

    I also tried to boot with an usb made from Microsoft tool but it didn't show in the disk proposal...

    I also tried to switch bios option with legacy, uefi or uefi with csm. Also tried fast boot enabled or disabled.

    Does anyone have an idea please ..?

    Ps: crucial support recommanded me to get a new ssd but i really feel like the issue will be the same because nothing appears even in the bios. I can't test the ssd on someone's else laptop

    Kinda weird since the HDD works just fine, but i'll wait for the caddy to arrive

    Well... lasted for an hour, did all the windows updates, used the laptop etc etc, crashed, never booted from the ssd again...

    At least it shows the correct partitions now at the windows installer, but cant make it to boot from the ssd, guess i'll wait for the caddy and see if that fixes it
