So first of all... Why is "microsoft Authenticator" not an option in the "Products" dropdown when choosing where this post should go? I'm just going to choose "Windows"... Sorry not sorry.
Also, I can't take a screenshot on the microsoft Authenticator app without it capturing a black image (thanks,) so here is an extremely low resolution webcam picture of my phone screen.
When I click "Passwords" section on the microsoft authenticator app, I see a button that says "Sign In".
So, I click the button, to sign in. Then, it asks me to authenticate using microsoft authenticator, but I am not signed in, and this is a "sensitive" page, so I have to enter the code displayed into microsoft authenticator, BUT I AM ON MICROSOFT AUTHENTICATOR ALREADY!!! Who designed this terrible app??? Cheap labor resources then you expect us to prefer microsoft edge over Chrome? LOL
Also, when I search my own question in "Bing", it doesn't come up, even if I type the title word for word. Does it go through some sort of not-mentioned approval process before my post becomes actually visible to the public, or is Bing just extremely bad at updating its search results in a timely manner?

In the case of the small business account, it's all managed by me, but I can no longer access my account. Yes, I only have 1 phone number, and it's already in use in the 1 private account I've set up and got working. How can I recover my private small business account?
I don't have anything Azure-based, at least not that I'm aware.
I also don't quite understand what you mean by "management of these devices" should be handled by the school. The device, i.e. the phone or computer, is my own. Do you mean the account should be managed by the school? I will contact them anyway.

Yes, the school the account is typically on Azure and managed by either the school's IT if they have it or some other sort of arrangement with a contractor possibly including Microsoft.
But that account won't typically be a personal account using Outlook.com for example, but instead running on Azure and possibly associated with Microsoft 365, though that latter set of apps can be associated with personal accounts as well, so it doesn't help determine which is in use there.
Calling the school for help makes the most sense.

For the small business account, it sounds likely this may only be another personal account, though it's really not certain, since official business accounts are still more typically operating on Azure. Here the existence of something like a Microsoft email domain like Outlook.com, Live.com, MSN.com, Hotmail.com, etc. would indicate a personal account, while a business domain like MyDomainName.com you chose yourself typically implies Azure cloud as well.
You'd need to confirm this first, but rather than expose tat information here, just confirm whether it's one of the common personal domains or something completely different named for your company. That will help determine what options you might have to regain control.

I used my own business domain to set up things in the Microsoft admin panel. Initially it suggested something along the lines of ...@businessname.onmicrosoft.com, but I changed it.
