I am Having Issues Changing My App Recommendation Settings

I am having lots of trouble with my app recommendations, whenever I try to open up a certain app (Discord, Steam, Roblox Studios, Etc.) it says I need to change my app recommendations or use apps from the Microsoft store. When I click on that link it gives saying 'Change My app recommendations' It takes me to settings in the apps category under 'installed apps' but there is nothing in there that says that I can change the recommendations. I have continuously searched the web, and the same thing comes up every time (Click start, go to settings, click on 'apps' and find the installed apps section, finally choose where to get apps). I even have looked at screenshots where it shows something saying 'choose where to get apps' but there is actually nothing there that says that for me. I don't understand if this is a bug, or if something is just wrong with my settings. I was wondering if someone could look into it, and if I need to show evidence I can. This is very annoying for me. All I ask for is some help and Thank You! (My version is i3 and it is a HP 14 Laptop 30J32AV)

    According to my observation, it seems that your application has been installed at present.

    Have you tried the method I gave you? What's the effect?

    According to the category you posted /Windows 11/, we can tell that your problem is "App Recommendation Settings will appear when the app is installed, but there is no other option in choose where to get apps " If my understanding is wrong, please feel free to Correct me. I can understand that it is frustrated at times that something goes wrong, and the fact that it has not been resolved is troubling.

    We can understand your feelings, due to lack of information and data limitations, we may need to point to detailed information.

    1. whether the problem you are currently encountering as shown in the figure:
    3. If the problem is as shown in the picture above, could you please share the current Windows OS version number and a screenshot of the problem interface of choose where to get apps (we need pictures to further investigate the problem):

    Here are some suggested changes to change my app recommendation settings, I hope these helps.

    Using the Local Group Policy Editor

    • Press and hold Windows + Q > search for local group policy editor > follow the path below to find the corresponding file >
    • Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Defender SmartScreen > Explorer > Find the " Configure App Install Control " on the right side of the file and double click > click Enabled > select the drop-down list and there will be four options to pop up > as shown:
    • After the change is complete, the Advanced app settings are as shown in the figure:
    • Note: This method does not apply to Windows Home Edition. If it is a Home Edition of Windows, please try to fix it by modifying the registry.

    Registry ModificationChoose where to get apps

    1. Right click on the desktop > create a new document .txt file > copy the following registry keys >
      Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 <br><br><br><br>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer] "AicEnabled"="Anywhere"
    2. Change the file extension to .reg > double click to add it to the registry > see if the option takes effect
