I am Having Issues Changing My App Recommendation Settings

I am having lots of trouble with my app recommendations, whenever I try to open up a certain app (Discord, Steam, Roblox Studios, Etc.) it says I need to change my app recommendations or use apps from the Microsoft store. When I click on that link it gives saying 'Change My app recommendations' It takes me to settings in the apps category under 'installed apps' but there is nothing in there that says that I can change the recommendations. I have continuously searched the web, and the same thing comes up every time (Click start, go to settings, click on 'apps' and find the installed apps section, finally choose where to get apps). I even have looked at screenshots where it shows something saying 'choose where to get apps' but there is actually nothing there that says that for me. I don't understand if this is a bug, or if something is just wrong with my settings. I was wondering if someone could look into it, and if I need to show evidence I can. This is very annoying for me. All I ask for is some help and Thank You! (My version is i3 and it is a HP 14 Laptop 30J32AV)

    Very very frustrating especially when no one gives you a straight answer. I just found the answer. Some computers were designed for business purposes. for a business to hand to their empoyees to use. Thats why all the excessive security stuff that doesnt allow us to do anything on our computers. its called s mode and i had no idea i was buying a brand new laptop for personal use with all these prohibited uses. You have to switch it out of s mode . which surprisingly is very simple . do know its a permanent change and i cant imagine anyone not wanting it to be permanent except they say performance and speed will suffer. i cant say yet if it has i just switched it out of s mode a minute ago. anyways . go to settings go to activation which is at the bottom of the settings page and you ll see exactly what i m talking about. s mode. follow the instructions . you do have to have a microsoft account to do it. so far it didnt cost me anything. and i just used my new thermal printer which i couldnt do anything with before i switched it out of s mode. good luck. that should fix the problem quickly and easily for you . if you dont understand why you didnt get a straight answer to begin with. i hear ya . have a good one.

    Hello, I tired this option and it still did not work. I am not sure what else to do. I have already checked to see if I needed to switch out of S mode and this is not on, for my laptop.

    Are you serious? How is an everyday Joe like myself suposed to complete that complex, advanced task just so we can download an app we paid for? Why are you deciding what I can and can't load onto my computer? Im trying to download the app for Adobe Creative Cloud. A legit company. But you have removed my ability to. Please offer a realistic solution. The one above is not a satisfactory way to bypass the lack of control you have decided to give me. Extremely frustrated. I do NOT have an APP and FEATURES option in my settings panel
