Install error - 0x80070103

Good morning for those that are still having problems with windows update error, in the search bar type CMD, from the top list right click on command prompt, choose the option run as administrator, in the CMD box type net stop wuauserv and press enter, type net stop cryptsvc and press enter, type net stop bits and press enter, type net stop msiserver and press enter, type c:\windows\softwareDistribution softwareDistribution.old press enter, type c:\windows\system32\catroot2 catroot2.old press enter, type net start wuauserv press enter, type net start cryptsvc press enter, type net start bits press enter, type net start msiserver press enter, then shut down your computer and then turn it back on, I did this twice yesterday and this morning when I turned on my computer to check for updates, the problem was solved, this worked for windows 11 it should work for other windows that gives that error

That didn't work for me. I ended up having to delete files from the registry and rebooting.
