Yesterday, I contacted the Microsoft Windows Support Team. They informed me that this issue has been identified and, to resolve it, an update will be released soon (probably by the end of this month).

I reverted back to Windows 10 four days ago. Today I got a notification for the Windows 11 22H2 update. Please inform me when they release the fix so that I can proceed with the Windows 11 update.

Thank you.

I got his issue after a reset to fix other issues and then after a few updates this happened. So far, I have reset all 3 units. What is strange is that it does not do it every time on every machine.

Reset is not an option on this unit until tax season is over. LOL

So, even a reset does not help you?

Actually, I did the reset to fix other issues and later noticed this problem. Maybe the end of Oct or early November.

I suggest that you do a clean install from a USB stick and save files you need to another drive. But a clean reset should work! I have a lot of programs on this unit and another clean install may remove them forever. If this is not fixed soon, I will see if I can install my programs on another computer.

This latest batch of updates is doing a lot of add on features which take a significant time to get rid of.

Microsoft loaded these versions up with interesting stuff but neglected core systems.
