'Standard hardware security not supported', till now the error is not fixed in Version 10.0.22621.674 also.

Yesterday, I contacted the Microsoft Windows Support Team. They informed me that this issue has been identified and, to resolve it, an update will be released soon (probably by the end of this month).

I reverted back to Windows 10 four days ago. Today I got a notification for the Windows 11 22H2 update. Please inform me when they release the fix so that I can proceed with the Windows 11 update.

    Waiting is indefinite. Solution given is immediate.

    You can always roll back to a restore point. As strongly advised.

    I'm IT helpdesk for a 100 person SMB. Working on a whole stack of Dell Latitude 5520, 5530, and 5531's, many of them right out of the box or recently imaged, fresh updates to Windows 11 22H2. All of them had this error.

    After hours of googling and hair-pulling this solution worked for me, as well. Although my implementation was a bit different. I first ran the 1.0.2207.20002-0 Microsoft.SecHealthUI_8wekyb3d8bbwe.appx file from the Box download. Then I reboot "in safe mode" to get to a command prompt. Only from there am I able to delete the contents of the C:\Windows\System32\SecurityHealth folder. No amount of fiddling with permissions allows me to delete it otherwise, because the unstoppable "Windows Security Service" has a lock on those folders when Windows is running.

    So after running the appx and deleting the folder in safe mode I confirm that Windows Security Center has full functionality (including all the Device Security functions) again. Thank you for your efforts on behalf of the community, hopefully M$ will see this thread and release a proper fix in the near future. 😉

    Appreciated man, I'm glad that you contributed the windows community and helped the users to fix their problem. But I think, it would be better if we wait for the official fix which would be rolled out by Microsoft soon.

    Correct. Everyone should be careful and be practical whenever anyone suggests any fix for your problem.

    Anybody has a fix for your problem that's fine, as the forum is meant for this purpose. But please do check and make sure you don't end up harming your system by following any random solutions given by any of the user here. It's better to check twice. Thanks

    Please do report this issue to the Windows Security Team. Let us wait for the next update and hope Microsoft fixes this recurring bug as soon as possible.
