'Standard hardware security not supported', till now the error is not fixed in Version 10.0.22621.674 also.

Yesterday, I contacted the Microsoft Windows Support Team. They informed me that this issue has been identified and, to resolve it, an update will be released soon (probably by the end of this month).

I reverted back to Windows 10 four days ago. Today I got a notification for the Windows 11 22H2 update. Please inform me when they release the fix so that I can proceed with the Windows 11 update.

    All the requirements are satisfied. It was working in previous build, suddenly after updating to 22H2 the error showed up. Other users are also facing the same issue of 'Standard hardware security not supported'

    Secure Boot - Turned On

    TPM 2.0 - Enabled

    UEFI MAT - Enabled

    Data Encryption - Enabled

    Still nothing is showing up here, I really think this is a bug in windows security in the version of 22H2 (22621) as it was working in the previous version of Windows 11 21H2

    2022-10-25: I just did a full reset using the Version 22H2 ISO from https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11 and am on Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.675). The Windows Security -> Device Security page is saying "Standard hardware security not supported". Consequently settings for Core Isolation, Security Processor, Secure Boot and Data Encryption are not available, which were before the reset.

    This is on a high-spec workstation laptop that the PC Health Check app says meets all Windows 11 requirements: Secure Boot, TPM 2.0 enabled, Intel Core i7-9750H CPU, 32GB RAM, 1024GB NVMe SSD, 6 processor cores and all the necessary [BIOS] options enabled for UEFI, Secure Boot, virtualisation, TPM, data encryption, etc.

    The Windows Security home page displays:

    This is clearly a bug, and people should avoid ripping out drivers to try fix this.

    If no folder appears in that location, you can try reinstalling Windows Security Platform with the new update. Download from this link the folder that contains the application:

    Now follow these steps:

    1. Create a restore point first
    2. Unzip the downloaded ZIP file on the Desktop
    3. Navigate to the location C:\Windows\System32\SecurityHealth to take ownership of that folder:

    Properties > Security > Advanced Options > Change > Administrators

    Check the "Replace owner on subcontainers and objects" box and click Apply.

    In the "SecurityHealth Permissions" window select Administrators > Full Control. Apply.

    1. Copy the "1.0.2207.20002-0" folder on the Desktop to the SecurityHealth folder
    2. Open the folder and run the application "Microsoft.SecHealthUI_8wekyb3d8bbwe.appx" as administrator to update.
    3. Restart the computer.

    Hello,

    I have exactly same issues. I reinstalled Windows 11 3 days ago due to my new ASUS z790 and 13900K and I am not able to enable windows security. All bios items are enable. I reproduced all steps described here but unfortunately it doesnt help.

    Is there any other fix/hack?
