Windows 11 Do Not Distrub constantly turns itself on

I have turned it off in Windows setting multiple times but it keeps turning back on. I do not want it on and I have never wanted it on. I did not know it was even a possibility to turn it on until it started doing it on its own.

How do I turn it off and leave it turned off for good?

    Sorry but that is not the issue, or at least not the only one, because I am using 3 monitors at all times and it still happens constantly. It's not fixed yet because MS devs are worthless goblins

    In my case I have found that when the checkbox is enabled for "When using an app in full-screen mode" (under "Turn on do not disturb automatically" in Settings > System > Notifications), then DND will turn on under all kinds of odd scenarios (such as maximizing Chrome or Edge, moving MS Teams to a particular monitor, etc). After unchecking that option this issue appears to have been resolved for me. Your mileage may vary, but I hope this helps someone.

    This is not helpful at all. I am not a tech expert and cannot follow this at all, <removed>It's pathetic I even have to ask, Microsoft should have an obligation to offer real support on their half baked releases. I should have to work in tech support to use Windows, absolutely pathetic, Microsoft should shut down if this is the best they can do, it's not acceptable

    1. Select Start, then select Settings> System> Focus assist, or type Focus assist into the search bar  and select Focus assist settings in the list of results.
    2. Ensure that Focus assist is Off
    3. Also toggle off When I'm duplicating my display and When I'm playing a game

    Makes no difference at all.
