Quick Access not showing in navigation pane since Windows 11 update

I updated to the latest version of Windows 11 yesterday. When I opened File Explorer, Quick access and recent files/folders were showing to the right of the window, but the Quick Access folder option was missing from the navigation panel on the left. So if I click away from this Window I've lost Quick Access. How do I re-enable Quick Access to the left part of the navigation pane?

Please look at the screenshot before replying. Quick Access is enabled in view mode options and can be seen, but is missing from the left side of the navigation pane.

    I too am fed up of this windows 11 as after buying this new laptop,am finding it very difficult as firstly the MS online helper messed up my settings,now everything he has put in a new folder of my name made and also things are not quite easy to use as in the case of earlier windows like windows 7.I get this message-The Desktop folder contains other important folders and isn't supported for file backup when ever I go to do the settings and there is no way to see the option change location either to be seen if I want to put the say for example any picture folder in its default place.I think all my apps are in the Desktop and neither the One Drive now working properly and numerous files of same name are to be seen in my File explorer.Dont know how to go about getting it right.

    I fully agree with you. Microsoft has made things so difficult for people to use it after their windows 11 that even after seeking their help by a person who has bought a new laptop is useless to say the least as they insist that one uses their products like one drive which asks for monthly fee to enable synching citing the memory is full and that one has no choice to opt for Google Drive but the windows 11 has everything routed through their One Drive which is useless to say the least.How can one save their work without passing everything through One Drive is something I yet have not been able to fathom.

    Hello,

    I also had this issue. What I did to "Resolve" this is to Unpin from Quick Access and then Pin to Quick Access. They are now showing up for me in the left panel, under Home.

    Hope this helps you.

    Just to be clear, I had to remove all existing Quick Access items. The Quick Access will disappear.

    Then all them all back, they will appear indented under the Home in the left pane:

    I get a different list which does not include "show all folders", so there are obviously different versions of Windows 11.
