I updated to the latest version of Windows 11 yesterday. When I opened File Explorer, Quick access and recent files/folders were showing to the right of the window, but the Quick Access folder option was missing from the navigation panel on the left. So if I click away from this Window I've lost Quick Access. How do I re-enable Quick Access to the left part of the navigation pane?
Please look at the screenshot before replying. Quick Access is enabled in view mode options and can be seen, but is missing from the left side of the navigation pane.
Thanks for any help.

Thank you so much for clarifying and the screenshots! Hours and hours of my life I will never get back, but at least it's solved now, and, while I hate not seeing all my folders, at least not I'm not horribly disturbed by having no fewer than *7* copies of "documents" that syncs to onedrive. Can we go back to XP??? Word Perfect and DOS anyone?!?! Perhaps some day I'll convert to Linux, but not allowed on my work computer. Off the soap box. Thanks for fixing my problem!
I do not have this feature in my windows 11. Not able to find any quick access option under view mode options either
But somehow, there is no ability for me to tag a folder as a favourite, and therefore my favourite section is empty.
When I right click on a folder I wish to tag, the only option is to PIN TO QUICK ACCESS, which is ironic, given I no longer have a quick access option.
So please enlighten me how can I tag a FOLDER as a favourite.
MS only allows me to tag a FILE as a favourite
