Quick Access not showing in navigation pane since Windows 11 update

I updated to the latest version of Windows 11 yesterday. When I opened File Explorer, Quick access and recent files/folders were showing to the right of the window, but the Quick Access folder option was missing from the navigation panel on the left. So if I click away from this Window I've lost Quick Access. How do I re-enable Quick Access to the left part of the navigation pane?

Please look at the screenshot before replying. Quick Access is enabled in view mode options and can be seen, but is missing from the left side of the navigation pane.

    Yes. It seems Microsoft do not understand how users use the product.

    They are so focused on providing change and new improvements, they lose sight of how people maintain their efficiency in the workplace.

    Again for those searching through this thread, the solution is the following:

    Right click where you used to see your quick access (far left pane for most and in the screen shot in the original post) uncheck the "show all folders" box.

    If you still do not see your pinned quick access you may have to go back and re-pin to quick access.

    Hi David,

    maybe my description at the end of the this discussion can help you as well.

    1. In the file explorer command bar click on the three dots
    2. then Options -> View -> scroll down in Advanced settings window -> Navigation pane -> uncheck "Show all folders"

    Yes, this finally worked for me. I had to make sure I had show libraries enabled and disable show all folders. It was opposite from the default after upgrading to Windows 11. Thanks!
