Fresh set of Instructions:
- Right-click on the msiexec.exe file and choose Copy as Path. Let's say the path is c:\users\aleena\desktop\msiexec.exe
- Download and run AdvancedRun.
- Using AdvancedRun, launch cmd.exe as TrustedInstaller.
- In the TrustedInstaller Command Prompt, run the following command:
- copy "c:\users\aleena\desktop\msiexec.exe" "c:\windows\system32"
(assuming that the downloaded file is located at c:\users\aleena\desktop )

Ramesh 182K Reputation points Volunteer Moderator2022-11-02T04:52:00+00:00 Please try D:\
And then, in the Trusted installer Command Prompt, run:
- copy d:\msiexec.exe c:\windows\system32\
Please note: It's not a regular command Prompt. Trusted Installer Command Prompt has to be launched using AdvancedRun tool as specified in the linked article.
