Why don't I have the app and features in settings?
I have a Windows 11 and I'm trying to change the app recommendation setting but I don't know how because I don't have app and features.

2023-05-19T10:17:15+00:00 HERE IS THE ANSWER/SOLUTION TO THIS ISSUE:
- Once you download the application (go to downloads)
- Right click on the app and click on "properties"
- Once you have clicked on properties, down at the bottom you'll see a checkbox which says "unblock"
- Click on that checkbox and then hit "apply" down at the bottom
- That should work, if it does not then that means your computer is in S Mode which means you'll have to switch out of that mode as it ONLY lets you install apps from the Microsoft store.
- To switch out of S Mode (it should tell you a message that there are other ways to install the non Microsoft store application, just click on "expand" or "tell me more" and it'll open the Microsoft store automatically, after that you just click on GET. Then it'll take about a minute to switch your computer/laptop out of S Mode and then your all set to download third party apps.
HOPE THIS HELPS EVERYONE AS I WAS LOSING MY MIND. LOL.

2023-05-21T17:55:59+00:00 I am also missing "Apps & Features" from my Windows 11 "Apps" system menu - this inconsistency is extremely frustrating.
I simply want to disable an app from being able to run in the background / "minimize to system tray". No app should be able to do this without asking for permission from the user FIRST. The app which is causing me this frustration is the EA "Launcher". It's violating multiple GUI norms and causing a great deal of frustration. When you press the "X" button to eXit, it does NOT exit, it simply minimizes to system tray which is exactly what I DO NOT want it to do.
